Please, 343. Add the Operator Helmet to Halo Infinite

Dear 343 Industries,

I write this from a place of desperation and pain. I would not reach out to you if this matter was not so incredibly urgent. Please add the Operator helmet to Halo: Infinite.

My joy could not be contained when it was first announced that Halo: Infinite’s first season would be titled Heroes of Reach. I, like many others in the Halo community, adored Halo: Reach’s customization system and cosmetic items. I became very attached to the Spartan I created in that game. The experience of running around and completing campaign missions as my personal spartan was a feeling that cannot be replicated. I formed an unbreakable bond with that spartan. He is my ride or die. I could not WAIT to re-create him in Halo: Infinite.

Then came the pain. The horror. The agony. Heroes of Reach had just dropped; and the Operator helmet was nowhere to be found. I was distraught. “How could this be happening?” I thought to myself. Almost all of Halo: Reach’s cosmetics had been integrated into the new game, with only a couple of helmets missing from the lineup. And mine was one of them.

343 Industries, if you read this, I implore you, add the Operator helmet into Halo: Infinite. Any of the Halo: Reach helmets that have not yet made their way to Halo: Infinite must be added as well, for my brothers and sisters who still wait for theirs as well. I know my experience is not one that I face alone. I beg of you, satisfy our deepest desires.

I mean the shoulder pads are in already, I figure its less a case of if, but a case of when.
The games supposed to be around for a really long time isnt it? Its just a waiting game to when they get around to adding it. They’ll probably end up adding in every previous armor set from the classic games at some point or another cause they cant just keep making Fractures kit.

Dear OP,

343i is well aware that the community is dying for the rest of the Reach cosmetics they haven’t released. They did so on purpose to keep our interest in the game alive, because we need to constantly check the store and thus we are reminded that this mediocre game exists.

By making this post, you confirmed them that their strategy is working and thus they are gonna delay the release of the cosmetics even more.

Please don’t make any more of these posts if you want to see your operator helmet in the game before 2025.

Devs have called those who want more of the Reach kit in Infinite “Moochers of Reach”.
Look it up on Reddit, makes me so mad.

I don’t really think 343 actually check these things to be honest. but considering they waited a year to give us the unreleased reach stuff, put a lot of fan requested stuff in a FOMO event

don’t count on an operator helmet being in the game…ever

and if it does, it will be so long away from the 2022 winter update that they will charge 1000-2000 credits for it
