i just signed up for Microsoft play test. is it possible to test halo 4 that way???
The only way you’ll get to play Halo 4 before release is to attend one of the events it was being demoed at, which are pretty much all over. There’s a European expo coming up soon, but I’m not sure how convenient that is for you.
If you saw it off of facebook, then you were most likely scammed. There are no “beta/play tester” jobs for Halo 4.

Microsoft Playtest is an open call for testers. High-profile games wont go through there. I’ve been a part of MS Playtest for a few years now. Tested a couple things.
However, if you REALLY want to get into testing, start up a Game Testing resume, and send it out to companies and testing groups.

Yeah pretty sure it is, but I believe it’s in late October, so you’ll be making the trip out there to play the game like 2 weeks early.

I’m not going to be playtesting at NYCC, I was just wondering so we might know when the next/last big event of showcasing Halo 4 is going to happen before the release. If it is just going to be two weeks before release, I might as well wait for November 6 to play it myself.

Well technically the LAST big event will be November 2nd-4th at MLG Dallas.

Well if you live in Sweden you will be able to play Halo 4 3 days earlier than the release on the Gamex event. But 3 days might not matter for you
