Playlists that fit everyone?

I know everyone is complaining about Sprint and other things within Halo 5 but more or less, 343 could easily add in a playlist that states the following.

You have Classic - A playlist where you relive the nostalgia formula that we all grew up on and loved. This playlist would have maps create by the devs, not remakes, that would work with the older game mechanics. It would basically play like Halo 2-3.

You have Evolved - A playlist that you are equipped with Sprint and other accommodations that allow you to traverse the playing field more effectively. The playlist would have maps made accordingly to fit the playstyle.

Do you think if 343 made something like this it would be beneficial for everyone and that everyone would be happy?

Would love to see a classic playlist, but with clamber and auto stabilize and other things. Unless they can accommodate for that stuff, I don’t see it happening.

Would love a classic style though, see how it plays out. Even if at first it’s just a mesh of Slayer and Objective.

I think if they included that all of the Halo veterans would have something to play that they enjoy more than the fast paced Halo 5 gameplay.

Well you can turn these things off can you not? Sprint can be turned off and I am sure Clamber can as well. If thrusters can be turned off which would take out auto stabilizers then the better.

I will have my buddy make a video on it and explain it better than myself lol

Well, I’m thinking that a “Classic” game mode could easily be made and maps to fit the mode could also be made with Forge.

People would complain about that part and would want the devs to create maps from scratch, that is the only issue I see but I wouldn’t mind maps being made in Forge as long as they play right and are detailed.

Yeah, people would do that because they always do. I personally don’t mind Forge maps and I Forge a lot myself so I know how to make the maps look good. I think if the current Forge maps in matchmaking had a bunch of extra detail, people wouldn’t complain so much. Without detail they do look like a bunch of plastic.

Any tips on how to choose the right pieces so that your maps don’t look too large?

The current forge that we have is fine and is in fact better. If it did have more details that could be added would make things look better in the long run but in reality it might already be possible.

IT’S CALLED MCC

That might be the case but either way you will get people who want that classic feel to always stay with Halo because it is something Halo grew up on and that people loved it. So I don’t see the issue in keeping it but I think that they should cater to all fields of players.
