Why is slayer pro and KotH and snipers gone? Why is there still no playlist for extraction (or objectives in general, e.g. “Team Objective” from Reach), invasion, grifball, etc. Why is 343i fragmenting players into those silly challenge playlists for a chance to win a ridiculous vehicle that the winner will probably repaint anyway?
Here’s a fix: actually make the playlists “playlists”. There’s no variety of game types because each playlist is just a single game type with a handful of maps. It’s inefficient and plain boring. Bring back the random variety that we saw in Reach.
None of my friends play Halo 4 much anymore. This sucks.

I know right, also wht hell happened to shotty snipes? There is literally no fun playlists. I can understand going hard and competitative but thats only fun for a bit before i need a break and do some fun games.

So to play KotH you are forced to buy crimson. Snipers was as popular as the crimson playlist. Extraction is a mystery on its own, just as you said. Grifball will be released soon just like the spec codes… whenever soon is with 343i. And invasion one of the most popular (and fun imo) playlist of Reach has been removed.
Knowing that 343i is currently like this: ZOMGWTFBBQ look at this big truck. And ignore that they said they will weekly change the playlist by adding new ones and removing unpopular ones.
But hey why keep your word when it is easier to do the opposite.
I’ve been saying this for a long time. I’ve virtually quit playing Halo 4 because it has become stagnant. There’s nothing there that I want to play. Rotating playlist is trash. Let people play what they want when they want.
If you take out gametypes people like, they generally don’t go into playlist their not fond of. Their playtime decreases, start play an older game or get a new game. Especially when its hard to tell when and if those playlist are comming back.
For the record: They didn’t give snipers a chance to get popular. I wanted to play some other gametypes, learn the maps, and get used to the mechanics before I started playing something like team snipers. Did the same for SWAT but its pretty much the hardcore version of Halo. People seem to like it because its the only game type that doesn’t take a half a mag to kill someone (unless you use the DMR).
There is no point in complaining about i man. There at least 20 more threads complaining about this same thing and it is not going to make it happen any sooner. Even though i have no problem with playlists, i understand your pain in regards to wanting stuff done, but you just have to be patient.
Complaining about a product is usually a good form of feedback.

Unnecessary repetition causes boredom and disinterest. IMO, I believe this issue is hurting Halo 4 the most, therefore some careful changes to the playlists should occur in order to address the problem without creating another… such as a significant dilution of the player population amongst the playlists by creating too many.
Take a look at how Halo 4’s population numbers have dwindled incredibly fast as a form of evidence in regards to the effect of disinterest that I’m referring to as the cause.

Another area that desperately needs additional variety is in the amount and diversity of maps. Don’t be afraid to use the Forge yourselves 343i! Forge existing maps. Create something new and re-name it. Plus, start including the custom game or forge only maps as well as different versions of them too.

Yes, I like it a lot. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one.
The more threads about this the better.
I’ve been playing Halo 4’s SWAT playlist almost exclusivley, but even thats been getting boring. I still try to play Halo 4 a little to still gain rank, but overall I don’t enjoy it that much. I actually ordered Halo 3 ODST a week ago because Halo 4 wasn’t fun enough. But maybe Money$oft will decide that Halo doesn’t need to be just like COD anymore and make Halo 5 back to original gameplay mechanics again. Until then, HALO 3!!!

I am not surprised. Everyone plays Snipers like SWAT.
