Sorry, but Squad Slayer > Team Slayer for people that enjoy DMR start. It just needs better maps and matching resitrictions so premade teams face each other a bit more . Leaving doubles as social and making big team ranked is equally dumb.
Doubles needs to be ranked for the sake of competitiveness. And Big team would be a lag fest disaster as ranked. Big team needs a semi-large population to function correctly, so you need one playlist. It can be fixed by not matching try hard team of 8 against 4 guests.
I don’t like Slayer and Objective games being thrown in the same pot unless it’ super casual, action sack type stuff. The Slayer game type is the foundation of MP.
Also, I miss Doubles Arena. When it left Arena, so did I.
So when CEA finally drops, do you think there will be an option to play big team battle on the anniversary maps with all the changes coming in the TU? This would be much better than the options in the current dlc playlists. There are only two options and both are 5v5 or 6v6.
Personally I think there should be an 4v4 slayer, 4v4 objective, 8v8 big team and Rumble pit on the anniversary maps with the TU changes. What are your thoughts and opinions? Would this fragment the community too much?
i do know that they will have a halo CE playlist, idk about BTB but we will see, and the wounders of halo you can make any game mode and see how it goes.
It would suck to have to play headlong with a max of four players, so I’d assume there’ll be some larger scale playlists for you.
For both Reach and CEA, I just prioritize it for CEA. (Except for “Community Classics”)
Elite Confront - Objective game variants while playing as Elites.
Elite Slayer - Elite slayer game variants.
Grab Bag - Objective/Slayer game variants on community-made maps. (For Halo: Reach only. With this, please remove community maps from Team slayer so players who want default maps can get them.)
Big Team Classic - Classic remakes that require 12 or more players, such as “Hematoma” made by nillapuddin626.
Advanced Slayer - “Traditional” game variants.
Classic Combat - “Classic” game variants.
