Well alot of people don’t like the police at all in current year it’s kinda honestly a stupid thing, but I don’t blame game developers for being cautious. THough it is kinda down to people being too sensative.
I think you misunderstood the post. FFA, Tactical Slayer, and Slayer will be three separate playlists.

Yeah that’s why there are commas after each mode titel, at least I’d hope that’s what Ske7ch means.

To me that reads as a singular Playlist.

They should probably change how it’s worded for more clarity.
Adding “playlists” after “Tactical Slayer (SWAT)” might help.

Im glad for this but… Why you had to lie? If it was really impossible before then how could you do it in so little time?
I appreciate the effort but you guys really should change your priorities. There is a good will from us and 343 clearly, but there are some people guiding this (awesome) game in the wrong path.
As much as I have complained the last few weeks I’m happy there is effort being put into this. I don’t think it’s right we have to wait for a game to be fixed after launch but this a huge step.
My only other wish is that the customization gets fixed.

I’m glad there’s gonna be new playlists, but I’d much prefer the melee hits and grenades to register. Like, cool now I’ll be able to melee people 3 times and have them not dying in a Team Slayer playlist instead of in an Arena playlist.

This is great to see, and honestly, I think a pretty quick update. Sure, it was inexplicably absent from release, but we’re only a month after release. I think the only way for it to have come sooner was if it was already ready and 343 had just decided to withhold it from release for some strange reason.

They are not awful, there are bad people in literally every profession. Don’t do crime and you’ll likely never see police. Shocker there.
Can’t rename a classic mode just because frail people get offended by words.
As for the OP, this is certainly a start. I hope soon after the holidays the modes of FFA, 2v2, 4v4, 4v4 Obj, and SWAT will all have their own social and ranked playlists instead of being lumped together. I also am still wishing for the ranked placement system to go away and start everyone at the bottom and let them work their way up, it’s so much more of a journey that way. I literally placed in Diamond and I have barely any headroom now, once I hit Onyx I’m done.

This is a good start, but I definitely don’t like hearing “adding brand new challenges specific to the new playlists” … ugh! 
This sounds like making people play playlists that they don’t want too. We don’t want people playing SWAT (Just call it SWAT already! Stop trying to be like other games) if they don’t like it, but they will so they can just unlock x item… I thought we figured this out already people! 
…and I don’t like this more focus and rewarding individual play in team playlists. I just really don’t think it’s a good idea to put an emphasis on individual play. It WILL lead to people just waiting for that sniper and not doing anything else, or quitting or whatever.
I’m glad a slayer only playlist is coming (I’m assuming it’s social only…) But there really needs to be a ranked slayer only playlist as well. I think it would do well. Remember, there’s LOTS of people who want to play ranked with radar, AR/pistol starts and FF on! (Pretty much like ranked Slayer playlist in past games)
Also, can we bring back player collision already??? …at least on ranked playlists
