Small step in the right direction. We still need many more maps, playlists, and game types.
Finally we’re getting a playlist filter so we’re not going loading into the same gamemode 10 times trying to get a certain gamemode for a challenge.
One week later and its finally happened this should’ve been a thing on the 8th or during your “beta” which wasn’t a beta it was the full multiplayer. Same goes for Co-op campaign, forge and other gamemodes for should’ve been things at launch.
You guys are literally doing the same thing that you did with Halo 5. Did you even learn from that mess? It doesn’t seem you have just a bunch of comp gamemodes for comp and socials no actual social modes to begin with. Driving your playerbase away and later on adding what was needed too late.
You want to mainatin a playerbase correct? Well this isn’t how its done and you’ll be repeating halo 5 unless you fix it.
I want to say that Halo infinite is great and its the best halo you’ve guys made, but how can I with all these issues in the game?
From the: Connection issues, Armor limitations, Lack of playlist filters, Terrible progression, Terrible soft collision, No assassinations, Co-op campaign coming many months later, Forced crossplay, wonky aim assist (some people have it and some don’t) I haven’t had aim assist once in the MP, The armor coatings, Forge coming many months later too, Lying about Reach customization which turns out to be limited, Lying about unlocking everything by playing which turns out you have to pay to unlock everything, not having actual social gamemodes and many more.
I’m not going to turn a blind eye to all these issues and say Halo Infinite is the best like many have because that is terrible.
We (The community) even told you guys to take more time making infinite because we don’t want a half made game we’re sick of it and you guys still have made and sold a half made game.
A waste of $60.
Your predecessor Bungie didn’t seem to have an issue to have the things that are missing in infinite available at launch.
What gave me high hopes for what you have done for infinite was all the content that you brought into mcc and bringing in cut content in it too and the Halo Online stuff which was great but it only took you guys 5 years from MCC launch in 2014 which was terrible till Halo Reach’s launch on Mcc in 2019 to actually fix it. 5 years for it to be fixed and playable. Probably be the same time till infinite is considered a full game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if my post got temporarily hidden by the community or by a mod or whatever because I’ve been seeing people’s post being temporarily hidden for when they speak truths and facts about infinite’s situation being bad and 343, almost like your trying to hide the truth and that is sad.
And if my post gets temporarily hidden too it only proves my point, because what I’ve said in this does not hit the mark of for saying curse words or any excuse needed for it to be hidden.

I think they were pushed to get the game out quicker than they expected…
I think everyone knew this would happen - it’s not far off though, playlist updates, polishing and some much needed QoL will do the job - I just hope it doesn’t take too long, I’ve already seen masses of people dropping off due to it becoming stagnant already.
Good news from yall. These changes will be massive steps in the right direction and give me hope for future improvements.

Why are you trying to inject new slayer variants already? Like we just want basic slayer, that’s it. Use quick play to test new modes.
Why do you not want the variants?
I like Team Slayer, but I also like Tactical Slayer and FFA.
It’s not called SWAT because the police in America are awful and swatting is a problem in the games industry that affects developers and content creators. The word has bad connotations.
Steam is by far the smallest community, lol. Who cares?
I’m not saying I don’t like them. They just don’t belong all mushed up in a playlist together. Slayer and Swat are two completely different play styles and attract different crowds of people. They need not be pigeonholed together. That’s just going to piss people off. Likewise, FFA needs to be in a playlist all to itself, because if I form a team of four, and then we get FFA in the slayer playlist… odds are we’re either A going to boost/grief the match of B leave entirely.
Another post in this topic said they were going to be separate from each other.

Looking forward to whatever the ‘accumulating score’ is, hopefully it doesn’t reset every so often.
I think they know when their playerbase dips in population. We don’t need an armchair analyst to tell us that.
