I agree on your setup for premium playlists incorporating all maps, I hate dlc playlists, if the maps were all of similar size it could work but it’s always cramped on smaller maps and not enough players for btb maps, but they wouldn’t wanna make players feel isolated for not supporting the game… Better off shoving all of us dumb enough to pay for it into a dank musty corner room of the basement. I got the limited edition for the specialisations and so I wouldn’t have to worry about Microsoft points for the -Yoinking!- maps, now I’m excluded from the new stuff, until microsofts most expensive gaming endeavor gets it’s -Yoink- together
what a wonderful middle finger they’re waving in my face
Yeah, remember the 6v6 AR start games on Highlands and Breakpoint. Sometimes it was 5v5 and that was before quitters. 5v3 seemed the norm. And then 343 wondered why the DLC population was so low.
What’s most painful is that they don’t seem to learn from past mistakes. Halo 3 had mandatory DLC for some playlists. Players without DLC could still play certain playlists, but people who paid more got more choice. I don’t see why that concept is such a problem.
If 343 make an 8v8 map, I want to play 8v8 on it. Not 6v6. And remember all, that the games very often start with less players, so we could be looking at 5v5 or even 4v4 on BTB maps.
Yes, there REALLY NEEDS TO BE a straight up Slayer playlist for DLC also.
I detest with every ounce of my being Objective gametypes in Halo. Never liked them, probably never will. I just want to put in Halo and play Slayer only.
Some people like the objective gametypes and that is cool. I have no issue with that at all.
Been playing various objective games on the DLC maps. It reminds me how utterly brilliant halo can be. I just can’t understand why these game types are not in BTB.
