So I rage a lot, I quit a lot, so it makes sense I get banned 8 HOURS A DAY for leaving once, perfectly fine (who’d see a problem with that?). But that’s not enough, now, despite going positive LITERALLY ALLOST EVERY GAME, I can’t rank up. Whole team goes positive, but one kids AFK and goes 1 and 15 and we lose and I get demoted! Great! Fix your ranking system, it’s trash, just like this reduced skill gap pile of -Yoink-.
First of all, if you leave a game you lose almost triple the CSR score of a game you just lose so theoretically you would need 2-3 games to win to balance it out.
Looking at your service record and Halo5arena.com stats, it looks like you have a 65% winrate in SWAT, it seems to work perfectly fine if you ask me, unless you ragequit a lot when you lose then that might explain why you’re not going up in rank.
Remember, having a positive attitude will you get you to where you wanna be. Sometimes players have bad games, doesn’t mean the ranking system is bad, at some point the weaker players will drop down and the better player will rank up statistically. Also the influx of new players from the WZ FF update and free play week might be the reason why they play bad.
I never played other Halo titles , I started playing Halo 5 MP for the first time and I was really bad, went constant 1-20, but as long as you know you can be better and play better you will go up in ranking. It also helps if you team up with some friends, learn to play together.

Pretty much the whole reason why I stopped playing competitive FFA and arena all together. It’s all RNG and unbalanced in terms of the ranking system.
For example - I saw a Gold player have to play against someone in Oynx.
Why are players in GOLD being placed with OYNX players? I’m not going to go into a huge rage mode here, but 343… At least fix the matchmaking system so that a poor gold player doesn’t get matched with a bunch of sweaty oynx/champion players.

True. H5 is my first MP. and i went from platinum and gold to diamond and onyx

I agree i like the old system better in a way. … that ur opponents would get increasingly better as u win. And and some point if u kept winning u kept playing other teams that were also winning. Also like the number ranking of 1-50 a b bit better that’s just me. … i mean this ranking system is not bad if it was a little more balanced! I know what u mean by placing kids like gold or or platinum against other onyx or high diamonds! Just because they might have one onyx or two diamonds on a team they randomly got put on. … if they aren’t good to begin with why does the game put them with a good onyx or whatever only to then match with a team of onyx and high diamonds?

Ok so if ur diamond and u have a team of diamonds or better then u can play onyx or high diamonds. … or if ur a diamond and have lets say a platinum or an gold on ur team they take into consideration and round down an u can only play teams yup diamond and only go as low as gold! … and it works if u are a lie rank to. … so if ur gold or silver then u can play as low as bronze and only up to platinum until u rank higher or if u are platinum and have a diamond then u can only play the highest rank on ur team and lower and it should be equal to so if u have one onyx the other team can only have one also an vise versa.
I always end up on games where its 4 vs 3 thanks to quitters like you. Just man up and help the team. You guys screw me over on my ranks
The problem is that it’s being overrun by smurfs. There was the occasional smurf in Halo 3 but there were so few that it wasn’t really an issue. With this game I run into a smurf every night. If 343 would put the banhammer on the real problem, matchmaking would be so much better.

Yeah that’s what I’ve been saying and not only that, they should not let fireteams of onyx and plats. The skill gap between those two is too big, and it makes a huge difference if this onyx plays only against some low diamonds.
