Hey y’all …
Playing the Master Chief Saga playlist, finished up to The Armory on Halo 2 (didn’t do Armory because, you know … life). Started up the playlist last night from the Resume option as I always do and fo some reason Arrival on Halo from CE loads up. I had to save and quit but now I can’t resume from where I left off originally. The playlist says I have 11/45 missions complete … even when I go into the playlist options to resume it shows The Armory but when I go to Start it still wants to load up Arrival. Did the whole hard reset thing, which before has fixed any issues but this time … no go.
Anyone else had this issue? Is there a work around or do I just have to play through CE … again? Thanks for any help.
Something like this usually happens around an update, did you download one recently?

I did too when I first started this playlist. I know there is a better solution, but I basically only played it when I knew I had the time to play through a whole level. I would only quit in between missions. That way every time I continued it would always be at the beginning of the mission.
I know this doesn’t help much. I think I read somewhere that instead of starting with the Resume option you can scroll over to the individual level and start from there, and it might put in at the saved checkpoint. I never tried that since when I read that I had already finished that playlist. Try it and see how it works.

Dax - I thought I read the opposite about resuming the playlist from the options menu because of glitches with the achievement progress. Who knows … such a buggy game …
How do you save and quit between missions? After every mission it would always take me to a mission stat screen with the only option from there being to hit B which started the next mission. If I decide to try this playlist again it’d be nice to know what I’m doing wrong … with my luck I wouldn’t have any problems until the last Halo 4 mission and it would reset again …

According to this support thread, you are far from the only one experiencing this. I had it happen to a small extent on a couple playlists. I’ll post details in that thread. You may want to post there as well.

Thanks for the redirect … I should’ve looked there first. Unless there’s a fix or 343 addresses the issue, doesn’t seem much point to continue playing. As much as I like CE, there’s only so many times I can stand playing through it …
