So, a little back story to understand where I am coming from. I am a 26 year old graphic designer based out of Toronto, Canada. I have played all the Halo games since halo 1 first released. I enjoyed them all but halo 3 was the one I really enjoyed the most. Huge into the competitive part of Halo 3, running MLG playlist all day back in the day. I just have some issues with how 343 have setup the playlist options. I understand everyone has their playlist that they enjoy since everyone plays Halo differently and for different reasons. I am just gonna point out some of the flaws I see with the playlist options and the some specific playlists themselves. I only want constructive comments and feedback and my hope is that some employees from 343 sees what I have written here any can take something from what I have written here to make MCC better.
Halo 2 in Halo Championship Series and in Team Hardcore
Okay so why is Halo 2 in both hardcore playlists? You added Halo 3 to the Team Hardcore playlist and now Halo 3 is picked almost every single time. I have no issue with Halo 2, it is a great game. I just understand why you need the the same Halo 2 game types in 2 different playlists. I prefer Halo 3 myself and when you added Halo 3 to Team Hardcore I was so happy but sometimes when I get Halo 2 I’m not happy. Just make a Halo 3 Harcore playlist and save everyone a headache.
Weekend Playlists
Can we have a little more community engagement by adding a special weekend playlist? Griff ball would be nice, or some interesting party style game types that I could just hop into with some friends.
Region Options
Okay so this isn’t really a playlist but it is something that frustrates me about searching. Doesn’t seem like it is automatic either. I just don’t like stepping in games and getting a bad host because they live across the pond, it isn’t fun for anyone. Don’t get me wrong I like people from all over the world, I just don’t like getting stuck on a host that I can’t play on. Give us some region options to search in before we start searching in a playlist, better yet being able to search for people that like a specific Halo game so that when it comes to voting for a game type that only halo games of the majority preference shows up to pick from.
