Playlist numbers not updating?

In the past couple of days, I’ve seen some really odd things with playlist numbers:

-In Reach yesterday, all the playlists were showing 0 players, as if noone was playing at all. There’s always some population in Reach.

-Several times yesterday and today, when I initially boot into H4, the playlists all show numbers that are abnormally low (no playlist above 1K, most below 500, several in the double digits). However, I’ll play a game, and when I come out, the numbers are back to where they usually are (3-4K for Infinity Slayer, 8-10K for BTB, etc.) I know thousands of people didn’t suddenly log on at once.

Anyone else getting this?

Far as Reach goes, minimal cares are given for that game now. It’ll be like that.

Reach’s population counters sometimes state that no one is playing.
And those Halo 4 numbers are most likely true. Not even 40000 play it on average anymore, and much of those people are found in infinity settings playlists.

There has to be something wrong with the counters. I saw about 120 people in Community FFA and 87 in Regicide before I went to work - it’s never that low

No, I’ve seen what OP is talking about, and the numbers are abnormally low for Halo 4.

When I saw it happen, it went back to normal after a half hour or so. It’s just a hiccup in the updating.
