So with Halo 4 coming out in less then a month I’m sure some of us are wondering What the day one playlists will be. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but did Frank say that they were trying to reduce the amount of playlists there will be; this of course would be to better connect the community so players aren’t spread so thin.
So getting on with my discussion these are the playlists from reach.

Team Slayer
Team Objective
BTB
Infection
SWAT
Team snipes
Multi-team
Doubles
Invasion
Arena
Community
MLG
Action Sack
Grifball
Then eventually classic, squad whatever else there was (I got away from halo after that)

Moving along, we obviously know that FFA, team slayer, team objective and BTB will be primary playlists. If I’m not mistaken flood was confirmed to have its own playlist, so grifball probably will to. I’m MLG and action sack will be in to maybe not right away but after a while. Invasion and arena are out.
So this leaves SWAT, team snipes, multi-team, doubles, and the possible classic playlist.
So how will playlists be limited in Halo 4 and what playlists do you think should be included at launch and further down the line?

Thanks, I didn’t know that. I actually wouldn’t mind playing an all-CTF playlist every now and then.
I hope they don’t overdo it with the playlists. I’d like to see the “special” playlists only in Double Xp weekends (Grifball, Infection, Fiesta, Team Snipers, SWAT etc.)

You mean this, “We’re incredibly excited to host our CTF hopper at launch,” does hopper mean playlist? If so I guess you’re but personally I hope not.
@viper I always liked double xp weekends too, theres a lot of people that would get mad if they did that though,and with flood and grifball having their own improved gametypes its unlikly. They could always test out new variants with xp weekends though if there are any xp weekends that is. I was thinking that they could make a variety slayer playlist out of snipes and SWAT.
