Well saw that consolidation at the end of warzone firefight in the recent news as I look at AshamanND link this is what it states

As the team continues to monitor playlist health, we’ll eventually be looking to reduce the number of Warzone offerings that are up at any specific time. The current plan to help alleviate the bifurcation of players is to eventually consolidate our Warzone Firefight playlists. While there are differences between Heroic Warzone Firefight, Legendary Warzone Firefight, and Mythic Warzone Firefight, we’ve noticed that Legendary WZFF players will jump over to Mythic WZFF during the weekends. Due to this split offering, we see Legendary WZFF activity fall during the weekend while Heroic WZFF remains steady. As a result, we’ve decided to “combine” Legendary & Heroic WZFF into one Warzone Firefight playlist and leave Mythic WZFF up permanently – bringing our three playlists to two.The reason “combine” is in quotes is because the playlist will exclusively feature Heroic difficulty, but the XP Rewards will now match those of Legendary WZFF. Fear not though, Mythic WZFF will continue to provide it’s higher XP payouts due to its extreme difficulty. By doing this we believe that the population will no longer be split between Legendary & Mythic WZFF, and the two existing playlists will remain healthy for quite some time. The timing for this change has not been locked in yet, but will probably happen within the next few weeks.

September is nearly here and with it will come another Arena Season and a few changes to our playlist offerings.
As we mentioned earlier this year, we had plans to consolidate some of our Warzone Firefight playlists but these changes were quickly put on hold due to working from home in the current pandemic. However, since we’ve been adjusting to pushing buttons from home, we believe we’re able to make these changes happen without needing to be in the studio. Here’s a quick recap of the changes we’ll be making to the Warzone Firefight playlists:
- Combine Heroic WZFF & Legendary WZFF into one Warzone Firefight playlist. This single playlist will use Heroic WZFF’s difficulty but will continue paying out Legendary WZFF’s higher XP Rewards. - Mythic Warzone Firefight, with its naturally higher payouts, will now be permanent.As for the rest of Halo 5, here’s what you can expect to find during the month of September

Do yourself a favor go and actually read it or go and read the Info I copy and paste from the really recent community update. Cause to you saying theres no date starting the next season, you clearly skimmd it not reading it. Cause you did read you would’ve also seen the veteran halo fan/developer is returning to help out with halo infinite campaign as this person name is Joseph Stanton, which he has work on halo since ce to reach.
