Whenever I try to play halo 5 with other people in my fireteam the first match we play I always disconnect from the match but I never have any internet or connection issues outside of this problem and I’m using an Ethernet cable. It can be very annoying when trying to play ranked as a can never play the first match even if I am the fireteam leader.
Used to happen to me alot. Just quit the game before you play a match and try. If it still kicks you out have everyone quit the game restart their Xbox.

What NAT type do you have? Could be that.

How do I check my NAT type

Go to your Xbox settings and click Network and it should pop up over there. You want it to be “open”.
