So I’ve been using Linux with a windows virtual machine with GPU passthrough for about a week now and its been great. I haven’t had any issues playing games. They run great and every game I have tried that has anti-cheat has not detected that I’m on a virtual machine, even MCC. My question is, does the Halo infinite flight have harder anti-cheat in place that wouldn’t allow me to play on a VM? I downloaded the insider build last night and could not get it to work. It would crash every time I would press play. I tried reinstalling it multiple times, updating my graphics driver, and changing windows settings. There are crash reports that show up which I can post in a reply if someone is interested in taking a look. Have no idea if it’s because of my VM or this just being a buggy flight.
I have no idea how, I thought it would be impossible. But out of my hours of playing yesterday and easily 30 slayer matches played I encountered two really sketchy players lol.
It took me forever to even get opencl up and running doing that so I salute you
I think you’re better off filing a support ticket than posting here tho.
