All my friends have quit Halo now and don’t plan on returning, this leaves me playing solo which in previous Halo games was fine I could still enjoy it and win most matches however in Halo 5 this isn’t the case it feels like I loose nearly every match regardless of how well I play. Yes I have bad games like everyone but I just can’t enjoy this when I lose the majority of matches. I only won 3 of my arena qualifies.

I give up in warzone its practically impossible these days but sadly it’s the only way to earn req points St a decent rate

In my experience it doesn’t matter if you play solo, so long as the other team is not a premade group that has a strategy and knows what to do.
I mean, if you’re with a team of Randos and the other team is all Randos, then whether you win or lose is a coin toss.
If you’re losing a lot of games recently, you’ve either been playing against premade teams or you just have bad luck. Remember, there’s a 50/50 chance of being on the winning team.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up my experience in Halo 5 as a pure solo. The fact that the game can’t stand by itself on an individual level is pretty bad.
Thing is, if a game is designed to be primarily played by a group, it doesn’t matter how good it is done. It can be terribly designed, and friends can make it a much more fun experience than it actually is. Then again, I guess if they want to appeal to the esports niche, they need strong brand recognition like Halo to compensate the ROI that the niche alone couldn’t do to get away with the focus Halo 5 is taking.
I been on a loosing streak to, but I dont mind. I actually havent played since the update though.

Honestly I think I might take a break from Halo 5 for a while and wait till more gamemodes are added. Of I keep playing like this I will just get more frustrated so I think letting my self cool down might be a better idea.
I dont mind running solo too much. If im with a team o concentrate on winning if im not i just focus on my own performance if we lose but i had a better game and topped the leaderboards then thats my victory when playing solo

Always an option. I’m willing to do that as soon as I get that Void Dancer helmet. Literally the only reason I’m playing right now. Once I get that helmet, almost purely Forge until the next update.

Honestly the thing that’s made Halo less fun is people aren’t social now and this is true for all Halo games not just Halo 5. Back in the day you would join lobbies and while playing have conversation with other players and play a few games with them and make new friends all while having a blast but today people don’t talk to each other in game anymore.
Yeah I too need decent people to play with. Playing solo or even with an other person sucks. No one is ever communicating.
I have a good time playing solo, and every once in a while I randomly find someone cool and join up with them for a bit. Or I used to until my dog ate my mic 
. You’re unlikely to find new people to play with if you only play with people you already know. Plus aren’t there Spartan companies to join or something?

Yeah I am part of a Spartan company but its mostly older people that are sporatically on like myself. I cant be on all the time I have a month old baby girl. So when I can be on, maybe I find one person, most of the time no one is on. Other companies have practice and scrimmages that just wont work with me I dont have that time.
I’m in the same boat as a few of you here. Let’s all add each other and then at least for the few times we are on at the same time we can team up?
And I agree, btb has been great the last few days. The aiming update has helped me a lot though. I’m still really enjoying it and won’t be quiting anytime soon!!!
Halo 5 is different than other Halo games. Because a lot of the MP stuff is more balanced, you need team work, which is hard when you play with randoms. In other games, however, you could easily do 1v4 and have a chance of winning.
