Playing on a wired connection makes me realize

How much I actually suck at video games…maybe I had some sort of advantage on wifi or maybe I was just never good at video games and just thought I was good or decent.

I know I’m not going to win every match but I’m not even getting positive K/D ratio’s anymore. I think I’m done with gaming.

Don’t say that. You probably just had an off day. It happens to everyone, even pros. If this is a sustained thing, it could be the stress of constant losing, in which case, take a break. I’m sure the Ethernet connection is just a coincidence. Don’t give up!

I think there is a difference in Halo 5 compared to all the others though. You can’t really solo in Halo 5 like you can in HCE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4. I’ve noticed whenever I try to take on two people I get obliterated in Halo 5. Unless by some sort of luck I take them both out cause I outwitted them.

H5’s weapon sandbox and mechanics makes it very hard to take on multiple people at once.

I usually play with a full team or 3 of us on Friday night and tonight for whatever reason it was terrible we lost 6 out of 7 or something close to it. Played a couple social and war zone matches for an hour then ended up winning 4 out of 6 before calling it a night. Halo 5 is unique in the fact that any given night your experience is going to change be it the matchmaking or yourself; it always seems different night to night. Sometimes I wonder if it’s good or bad but it keeps me/us coming back regardless.

I will admit, I do not play ranked solo, period. I avoid it like the plague. Having communication with at least one other is a absolute must. There’s not many more frustrating things in the game than getting a guy one shot and watching him recharge his shields while crouching in a corner near your corpse. In all honesty I don’t think I would have play the game at all if I didn’t have friends playing it. The same thing that makes it a great game for me, the competitiveness, also seems like it’s downfall.

This didn’t really deserve its own thread when you could’ve just updated your progress in the thread you made yesterday.
