i searched google and even some forums, i dunno how to say this but im having a hard time witht his. never played an rts on a gaming controller.
whenever i select a bunch of units and move them somewhere, they wont all move to the same point. they keep leaving a ton of space between each other. have to micro manage too much. any way around this?
If you make use of the d-pad and holding rt to increase scrolling speed you should have no trouble getting around the map. Also, make use of lb and rb for selecting your units. Combined with rt you can select types of units already selected. As for the spacing of the units that’s completely normal and unavoidable as they can only get so close to each other. If you’re having trouble locking on to units you can not only change the stickiness, but the scrolling speed as well in your settings. As for me, I tend to play with a high scrolling speed and increased stickiness which makes everything a lot easier. Over time you’ll get a lot better and you’ll be able to use the controls with no problem at all. It just takes time to get used to it
