When using a dual PC, there are noticeable differences in frames in the menu, but more importantly, in the game. I have tweeted about this issue but did not receive any response whatsoever and I talked with a few Halo pros who had the same issues. The link to the tweet is here: https://twitter.com/MarinoPingitore/status/1511225151873949699?s=20&t=tRuvsN_mzZbA9T_jMAqluw
When cloning to the capture card, you can see the FPS fall by small amount in the menus, but when in game you can feel the input lag and frame drops. It causes more stutters as well. As an MnK player, this is not ideal, but it doesnt only affect MnK. When I remove the clone on the capture card, the game feels a lot more snappy and responsive. The difference is insane.
Of course I go ahead and submit a ticket like they say you should since it is affecting gameplay performance and I get told to update my GPU drivers… C’MON MAN. If i had to take a guess, this could be something to do with either the game being Borderless Fullscreen (WHY ONLY BFS???) or it can be something with DX12. Who knows.
Hope this helps just 1 person and sheds light on an issue with Halo Infinite since it came out.
