In Halo Reach Forge, when you were a Monitor, you were supposed to be able to shoot by using a Focus Rifle that was equipped into the Monitor. Unfortunately, due to whatever reason, Bungie cut it out.
So the possibility of that feature actually being put in in the future can be very likely, and very awesome.
In Forge you can do a human survival glitch so you respawn as an Oracle. And when you get out of Oracle mode you can still fly around, and pick up weapons. Basically just fall from high enough to kill yourself, and at the exact moment you hit, change to Oracle mode. I will warn you, though, it is addicting and frustrating to achieve, and it is easier said than done.
