I recently found a team of guys that I enjoy playing with and have been running arena with them the past two weeks. It has been a blast, even though they are not my skill rank the games still end up being competitive, (after we smash a few week teams and halo gives us some ppl more my skill). Recently I decided to play by myself just cause it’s harder and I wanted to see if my skills were still sharp. First game was good, matched with smart players and got an easy win. Second game we got placed with someone who was qualifying in their second match, went 1-7 and quit.
Matchmaking is bad in my experience and quitting happens wayyyy to often so…yea dont go alone lol

its crazy, bad starts happen for everyone but you learn how to dig yourself out. But the whole matching players thing is flawed too. I had a diamond slayer game i played where I played with 3 guys who literally just bought the game that day and it was their second match. We got smashed 50-21. Now i appreciate them not qutting on me but they had noooo business in that game. This happens a lot to me as well.

While I COMPLETELY agree it shouldn’t happen, it’s no excuse to quit. I’ve started 1-8 and finished 8-10. It happens.

Yes it can be rough going solo however I do very well a lot of the time as well so there is more a random element to going solo however that is not to say that you cannot have some great matches like that, it’s just far less consistent then when you roll with same team members. Also going solo allows me to meet new team members that I add onto my friends list.

That’s not a good excuse because people know they might get put into unfair match. It happens, haven’t had an absolutely perfect ranking system in halo yet. If you ever play with me you’ll see me rage my -Yoink- of if I start of bad or just suck the entire game, fair team or not.(I solo the game more than I play with my clan on h5, yet I have more wins than losses) I don’t quit. The only legit reason to quit a game is your house better be on fire if you leave a game, not because you start off bad or that your team sucks…
I would play in groups if I had anyone to play with…
Recruitment section is dead…
Getting groups is a pain in the -Yoink- especially considering I don’t use mic 100% of the time because I have other people in the room with me I talk to…Which means I’d just annoy my team…

Post game stats show everyone’s rank. We have the ability to see why we Get our -Yoinks!- stomped just by looking at the ranks of everyone. I see platinums/diamands/onyx get matched up all the time. Fair? No but it happens.

Theres no in game notification of whether people are partied up or not.
I am a platinum 2 in breakout, I played random, played against a team of all diamonds with highest being a six. My highest player was diamond 1. Others were low rank like me. That is BS to get that kind of a match. It happens a lot, the poor matching. I really just think there are no players in the Halo 5 matchmaking and everyone gets sucked into a match regardless of rank. Halo 3 will always be the top, 343 really F’d it all up.
