I can’t be the only one that enjoys this.
I’m not a social player. When I play the halo shooters, the most important thing for me is muting all the other players before the match starts. In hw2 I don’t join parties and I don’t wear my mic. I’m not a snob. I just really enjoy the time to get into the game, and the mystery surrounding my opponent.
I happily respond to messages sent through the xbox instant message (text) system. I’ll admit my kind of play style makes 2v2 or 3v3 unworkable, so I steer clear, but as long as there’s 1v1, I guess I’m good.
I always kinda feel bad when I snub party invites. It’s nothing personal, really. =P.
Any other loners know what I’m talkin’ about?
I play solo mostly, but when someone sends me an invite I join.
