Seriously I try and enjoy the matchmaking and play some slayer but repetivlty today I got matched against US players while Im in the EU.
Know what that means ? That means 400 freaking ping for me and thus I can’t freaking play !
Oh and it get’s better !
First I played a game on Eden against US, then the game disconnects everyone, I get DERANKED and im like okay try again, WUP another match against US players !
Lost and Deranked again…
Seriouly 343 You need to do something about this before you address anything else, servers are THE core element
Even here in the US the servers are never great. Granted in the EU connecting to US is totally worse. Don’t they have any dedicated servers there for you to connect too? They really do need to work on there servers though. These are the worst servers ive ever seen for gaming. Something is up with them no doubt. I do know if they had the option to select the server one would want to play on that would help. But they really did mess this up bad to be honest. I don’t even take the game serious at all because of this. And I agree the servers are the core element for there game, Yet they show no signs of improving it at all :-/ This is one subject 343i never replies on…

No you are totally correct. Halo5 uses MS servers for the game. But if 343i is a team that Microsoft put together wouldn’t you think they would talk to each other on some level about this? I could be wrong but one would think not? The way I understand it is that Halo5 was installed on pre-existing servers that MS already had in various locations around the world. Im just wondering if the traffic to those servers are so busy doing other things besides gaming that the traffic to those servers make them unstable for gaming. Or there just not optimal for gaming. Im just trying to understand why it is so bad… What do you think Matador?

We do have “dedicated” servers here in the EU, however at certain points of the day it is hard to find players, especially because I am in “high” onyx. Usually I get matched at least one Champion(which is fine, when the connection is good). We have to search on “Expanded” and even then it takes a long time and apparently it also matches us against other servers, were we have the disadvantage.
I agree with you that this is the subject 343 dosen’t reply to, I have NEVER heard anything back from them and this is not my first time posting about this…
