It’s annoying and cheep to get someone suicide rush you with 3x of his plasma grenades.
Or if someone fails to kill you with his boltshot from his camping position.
Do you want to see them removed as spawn weapons?

yea it is pretty cheap when some baddie knows he cant win so he starts spamming his plasmas (usually 3X) and gets a lucky kill on you as a result
I second the notion. Martyrdom stickies can die in a fire.
By that logic, we should all start with pulse grenades. Or no grenades
OR SMOKE GRENADES.
As someone whose been rightly out played and killed, but threw a plasma for a last second lol and watched it magically tag the guy when I wasn’t even close to hitting him.
I agree.

What’s wrong with frag grenades?

How did you get that from the OP?
I think it’s funny that the new thing to complain about is plasmas. I knew that once the boltshot madness died down that stickies would be the next new thing. At least their is more reason with stickies than with boltshot.
At the very least, players should only spawn with ONE plasma grenade (same as pulse nades). If they want to spawn with x2 plasmas then they will have to pick up the grenadier tactical package.
Allowing people to spawn with x2 plasmas really sucks. I’ve gotten so aggravated by players who do nothing but run up to you spamming their grenade toss button in a desperate attempt to stick you before they die. Spawning with plasmas also makes BTB that much less enjoyable since every vehicle just gets plasma grenades chucked at them whenever they spawn.
they have homing devices for god sakes!

So spawning with a shotgun makes more sense than spawning with stickies? Both options should be removed.
I don’t know why so many people complain about this, In other halos when you played Covenant Maps you spawned with two plasmas and the panic sticks still happened. Plasmas are needed in big team because without them the vehicles become way over powered. Try taking on a gauss hog without stick grenades and tell me how it goes.
I dislike dying from panic sticks but it is something that has been around for a long time. Just because you are not happy with the way you died is no reason to try to get it changed. That is just like a child changing the rules of the game so they always win.

The biggest problem is that Stickies and Plasma Pistol Spawns completely destroy vehicle play. Pretty much all vehicles except maybe the Mantis get taken out in 20 seconds.
You don’t realize this though because you’re to far up defending 343’s every move.
First of all, there is no need to attack someone in this topic of an issue of defending/attacking a company. An opinion was simply stated. Chrispy is right, that panic sticky concept is no new enemy. As far as vehicle killing goes, if you are efficient with the vehicle and you’re driver is doing his job (ie not driving straight into the middle of a bunch of enemies but zoning them) that really shouldn’t be an issue. The strategy of sticking vehicles was just as prevalent in Halo 3. The one issue I do find with grenades and vehicles in this latest installment of halo is that frag grenades no longer seem to do virtually anything to vehicles. It would be nice for them to at least send them rolling. The effectiveness of frags versus plasmas is way out of balance.

The noobs need a fighting chance, though.
It’s simply ridiculous to think that removing them would encourage competitive play.
Silly, silly you.
This is stupid. We sometimes spawned with stickies in halo reach. I’m sure we can still deal with it now.
I don’t see any problem with it. If there was an issue. the most likely one would be that the player can spawn with 2. Making it treated like the Promethean grenade where be default you would only spawn with 1 would be a practical solution.
But, But, then i wont be able to stick grunts at start anymore.
Also, to me… sticking someone is like tea-bagging, its freaking hilarious.

It frustrates me so much when people like you who have no idea what they’re talking about post.
In Reach, you only spawned with them in Covenant type playlists.
In Halo 4, you can spawn with them and PP in pretty much all, effectively breaking Vehicular play.

In Reach’s elite slayer, we had the evade AA that made a bigger leap than the thruster pack and could be used twice in a row, making stickies avoidable.
Now, if I’m the king in Regicide, there is always the chance of someone charging in me with his 3x stickies, having a slimmer chance of avoiding with the thruster pack.

They were a definite problem in Reach, but not nearly as bad as they are in 4.
I’m a veteran Invasion player, so I know.
