Players intentionally running in front of vehicle

What is with teammates intentionally trying to get betrayed? Sometimes, they simply do not pay attention. Plenty of times I have to stop and go around them or wait for them to pass. Recently, a player ran out of a corner straight into my vehicle and got me booted instantly. It’s annoying. Why even allow friendly fire this way?

Maybe they are insured, and are trying to get the money.

or maybe their trying to get some money back from their life insurance policy

It really seems like everybody’s out to boot their own teammates. They see somebody in a ghost or wraith? They run straight into it or thruster pack into it. I use all my good reqs and doing as much as I can to help the team, and I get booted because somebody thought it’d be a good idea to allow friendly splatters.

I have accidentally betrayed and been betrayed and have not seen the boot option in a very long time. Are you talking about firefight?

I have never been a part of someone on your team intentionally jumping in front of your vehicle.
Now on the flip side, especially in WZA and close quarters, I am bad enough that I am most likely going to accidentally hit a teammate or two anyway.

I do admit it has been my fault at times and sometimes I accidentally get into somebody’s way, but my gosh do I see a lot of people jumping in front of people’s vehicles and then they get booted. Of course it’s not every match, but it’s very often. They do it so subtlely, like casually running diagonally into the way of a vehicle.

I don’t hit people with vehicles, but if there was a teammate splatter medal, I know a few people who’d be killionaires right about now.

If someone intentionally betrays me with their vehicle during Warzone Firefight, rest assured that once I respawn, I will intentionally run towards you so that I can boot you after you splatter me again

That doesn’t help anyone at all.

It does help because griefers ruin your game by taking down your shields with their vehicles, causing your teammates to die faster

Another recent trend is teammates damaging each other’s vehicles between rounds. Yoinking! on someone’s rare / expensive req is a pretty crappy thing to do. It’s like their little ADD / Asbergers brains can’t cope with not shooting something for 10 seconds. Either that or they’re just plain -Yoink–holes.

Yeah, I’m sure they wanted to get splattered by you.

The girlfriend of one of my mates kissed me and he tried to splatter me. That could be it.
