I’m just wondering but is it just me or are there a lot of people afk or just leaving matches early and ruining your chance at winning or ranking up? I don’t know but for at least 3 matches now I’ve carried my teams in slayer and mostly because my teammates either suck or they leave the game when it starts/ afk. I feel like your individual performance should matter more than your wins and losses because stuff like this happens way too often and I’ve seen people drop in rank just because of bad teammates and they’ll be absolutely amazing in-game.

Yeah. It’s normally a cake walk with my friends but with random players you never know what will happen. I wish KD would have an impact more than straight win/loss but oh well.

To clarify just incase of any misunderstanding when I say like overwatch I mean like solos mostly play solos and teams vs teams. Like if I double que it’s only parties of 2.

It’s not yet implemented but they’ll keep us updated on the situation.

I don’t know… Even then you have to rely on randoms who may not care about ranking and/or not trying their best. If you want to rank in a team rank playlist it is always best to have regulars to rank with. If you rely on randoms you are going to get random results in your placement matches and outcomes of games.
That’s awesome. Glad they’re doing something about this.

They are going to try but like the update states it’s a delicate balance. How long we have to wait plus the code tweaks we don’t know.
Yep it’s brutal and makes the match ups hard sometimes you absolutely tear teams apart and other times get completely destroyed I’m not getting as many fun close intense games and when players quit or AFK it’s just brutal
I think it was Matchmaking Feedback - Match 13th where I suggested a Forfeit match option. If someone quits before 2 minutes the game should be cancelled. If a teammate leaves the game you should be given the option to resign the match, receive a loss but not have to go through a frustrating game where you can’t leave the spawn because you are outnumbered.
Sometimes losing a teammate is not a problem since I’ve won games where the enemy team has 4 players and we have 3. But that’s not always the case, so the option to vote to resign should be part of the game. Something that should’ve been since the game shipped and it should be a priority in MM right now. I played more than 6 games today where either my team or the enemy team had just 1-3 players.

That’s an interesting way to fix it actually
This is probably a big part as to why going solo is so difficult. Can’t consistently count on the teammates you get. So you know what people do to counter that? Team up. And then that leads to the next complaint Solo players have: going up against teams. It’s a vicious cycle.

Yup is really hard playing ranked arena by yourself every time I play got matched against full parties
