I keep running into this. When I check someone’s gamercard after or even during a game I’m playing with them it shows their status as offline. Anyone know the reason for this?

You can set your status to appear off line
Its because people set their status to appear offline. People who hack and troll tend to do this so as to avoid detection. Its not an error.

xbox servers were being hacked by some lkhzard squad wannabies.

Idk about it being an effective way for hacks and trolls to avoid detection. But my setting was default set to appear offline to anyone that wasn’t on my friends list.
