Ran into this issue before with the Crimson Map Pack and now ran into it again with the Champions Bundle. Matchmaking freezes because a map pack (Crimson and now Champions) becomes corrupt. Load a game until I see the hologram when the game puts me back at the Start Menu. I pinpointed the corrupted map packs by going into custom games and seeing which ones give me the message “Players Failed to Load Content”. I deleted each map pack (again, Crimson and Champions) several times but they still corrupt the game. Getting tired of this considering I just paid 10 bucks for the Champions bundle to NOT work. Disc 1 and Disc 2 is installed. Playing on a NEW Xbox 360 SLIM w/250 GB HDD. PLEASE HELP!!! One other thing to add is that this glitch only happens with MY gamertag. When I use my brothers GT (we share the same Xbox), the maps load fine. WTF!
Also, none of the other forums helped me much and were old. SO this is why I’m posting this because I doubt I’m the only one still experiencing this despite the fact the game is already a year old and 343 said they “patched” this up.
Your not alone. I am having the same issue. Wish someone from 343 would at least say something and acknowledge that some people are having this issue. It’s starting to piss me off.
Yeah my brother has this problem. He has paid for all the map packs but they are all corrupt and he cant play them on his console, despite deleting then redownloading. I’ve searched the web time and time again and have never been able to find a solution. I think we would all really appreciate someone from 343 to propose a solution or even diagnose the isssue
I have had this same problem ever since the first DLC came out for Halo 4. I purchased the Limited Edition and I still to this day am not able to play ANY of the DLCs including the free ones Spartan Ops, and Forge Island. This is ridiculous and I have even called Microsoft Support 4 times and they couldn’t find a solution so they just gave up. Im surprised that at least someone is having the same problem though… I thought I was the only one.
i just posted about this… i have tried all the tricks to try and make them load and nothing is wrking for me. I sat on the phone for an hour and a half with microsoft support and they walked me through so many steps and nothing worked… then he finally gave up and now im stuck. tried to get my refund but the guy talked me out of it because he said if i end up playing it a red flag will pop up on their database and bann my account…
Dont know what else to do and nobody seems to have an answer

I’ve been talking to an Xbox Support representative on Twitter for 2 hours now. Hopefully, he can give me a solution, and if he does, I will pass it onto you guys, and we can finally play the new maps.

Have you tried clearing your Cache memory?
I have tried: clearing cache many times and rebooting, deleting halo content from my hardrive, deleting the game and downloading again (both disks, taking out my hardrive and putting it back in, downloading the map pack multiple times, downloading my profile again and there might be some more but i may have forgotten some.

I’ve just come back to playing Halo 4 after nine months, I downloaded the 480points map pack instead of paying 800points for the armour and stuff I probably won’t use yet the maps that I’ve paid for dont work either??? HELP
I am having the same issue and this has been going on for a while. The same thing happen with the crimson an castle dlc maps but those were sorted out?
I only hope 343 give us a explanation and finish this once and for all /
