I’d like you to show me proof or statistics on that statement that multiplayer players aren’t or haven’t bought the campaign.
I assume that even if the statement were to be true, people playing halo just because it’s free… with the problems it has right now… would quit in the short term.
Even then this individual has bought battle pass which is apart of the game. He spent his money on that.
For a fact i can tell you right now that out of the 6 people i play this with every night, im the only one who has even bought or played the campaign.
Also all you need to do is look at the percentages on completed campaign missions and you can tell that less people have played it then most. If you look at the games achievements, only 22% of all players have completed the first campaign mission. that pools players from campaign users and multiplayer only players into one big group since both parts of the game have the same achievement list.
So your telling me if more people bought campaign then played the F2P multiplayer, only 22% of everybody beat the first mission?

And only 18% of players have earned a mythic medal so I guess only 18% of players play matchmaking by this logic. You cannot use achievement tracker for this arguement… because people simply go on the game and can change a customization for the first time, then stop playing the game and get an achievement.
Not cool dude… Whats the rush? You will get the challgenge done. Just play the match. Nice to know you screwed over all those ranked players for the “awesome” backdrop.

Call 343 out for making a bad system 
Yes it is flawed ATM. But what about your teamamtes? You really don’t care that much? Do you not care when it happens to you? I was able to complete ALL the challenges with 4 days to spare and didn’t quit a single match early.

who pays 60 for a game and doesnt even play the first campaign mission. you sound so illogical its ridiculous. Its literally obvious that more people will download something free they see on steam as a f2p vs paying 60 for campaign. This model aim specifically at casual shooter fans who wont buy the campaign but want to play or play with friends who have it. Its the same idea as people having COD warzone but not actually buying the actual cod game with campaign and muitiplayer… Or the fact that there are more Battle Royal Fortnite users then actual Story Campaign users in that game

343 isn’t forcing you to play the game at all let alone their way. Nobody is forcing you to complete challenges. You are screwing your teammates over and having a toxic personality over cosmetic items. That’s not on anyone but yourself.

The penalty seems to be situational sometimes you get it sometimes you don’t.
on another note if we didn’t have such specific challeges, like play in this mode, or use this gun, we wouldn’t have people leaving games so much…
Oh sorry that I don’t like it, that stuff that should be in the game for free are now behind a bad challenge system. But no, I don’t feel bad if I leave a game for challenge

I think it’s 343 that’s screwing teams over by horrible challenges to get items that should be free… or maybe people don’t mind doing challenges even if they end up screwing over their team because the cosmetic is worth more to them than winning a game, which nets you nothing even in a ranked game you get nothing worthwhile for a win… that shiny number means nothing to some people.

NO, we can’t select game types. CTF is horrendous and honestly shouldnt even be in ranked at this point.

Also, ranked having a different loadout is also irritating and proof the game devs dont know how to make a game. Every game that does this is failure.

Im quitting every time my team doesn’t get how to play the game. Im not wasting my life due people wanting rank. just get rid of it. its 2021, esports is trash and so ranked br only halo with no side arm…just dumb
or get rid of the challenges so we aren’t forced to play it at all.
In terms of rank, you can still try to play well and come out not losing any rank, or even going up.
So you don’t think rank shouldn’t be part of the game but you continue to play it? Hmm. Kind of sounds like a you problem. Don’t make it everyone else’s by leaving a match early for a game type you don’t even like maybe?

lol, that is not what I said. And i never said I leave games because I dont enjoy the game type.
I remember a time when people used to jump into halo multiplayer to play and have fun cause they actually enjoyed playing the game! not just go on it concerned about challenges and skins! If thats the only reason your playing these games then you clearĺy dont play cause you enjoy the game itself so why bother at all… how the generations have changed…
Bans don’t stop quitters. MCC was very harsh, yet it did not stop.

Apparently it doesn’t stop a certain Halo YouTube personality from being in the top 0.1% of matches quit either.
