On “Rally Point” I like to drive the Warthog but over the last few days players keep destroying them as one guy, Prodigy H4 just told me, because he want’s his full 8 minutes. Why is there no way to report these kind of players?? This sh%# is getting old fast.
This is one of the reasons I stick to Spartan Ops solo. That and the horrendous lag/latency.
It’s a shame too since those two things ruin what would probably be a fun experience.
Get 3 buddies or join up with people who play in the same style. I would join you but I’ve completed all the ops and hit 130.
Play with people who aren’t whiners.
If that’s an issue, get these things called friends and play with them.
If I jump on for one quick game, I shouldn’t have to track down friends just to play it. They point is why do I have to change my gameplay to suit someone who wants to spend the whole match shooting with a pistol. Shouldn’t he be the one gaming with his buddies?
I usually just go with matchmaking. Yes it does get annoying especially the occasional troll.
I agree, especially with the lag part. It’s why I don’t play much multi anymore. If I wanted to shoot someone multiple times with no result I’d go back to BO. 
This is a common problem. I’ve seen multiple topics and polls about this, the vast majority of players are in favour of disabling friendly fire against vehicles in both MM and SOPs, unfortunately I’ve seen no acknowledgement of the problem from any 343 staff

It’s because they can’t do anything. The vehicles are coded to be neutral so anyone (your team, enemy team, or covies) can use them. This coding cannot be changed without changing the game entirely.
It’s just a couple of griefers, you’ll live.

LOL, sorry but if you believe that, you’re kidding yourself. It would not be difficult at all for a TU to change the game’s coding so that once someone from your team is at the controls of a vehicle it gets treated as part of your team in terms of friendly fire.
If someone from the opposing team hops into a passenger seat or becomes the driver it can be damaged by your teammates again and so on. They would not have to change the game ‘entirely’.

Well, from the standpoint of someone who’s played a number of tabletop RPGs where cooperative play trumps competitive, because there are more people than you and you should try to compromise. You like vehicles, he wants a long game. So how about you provide fire support against vehicles and artillery while he goes for anti-infantry?

It’s more like spawn all vehicles are destroyed “uh… I was gonna use that…” “too bad NERD LAWL!”

If that’s what they’re doing, troll them back since the game punishes quitters.
Or reboot your router to get a connection quit, since those don’t count.

Even if they don’t want the vehicles to get the full 8 minutes, if someone spawns in your vehicle, you can just farm wheelmans.

I did that to the last guy but if I did it to everyone who does this that wouldn’t leave much time for gaming. I think the mature thing to do would be for these guys to play on the missions without vehicles, don’t you?
Just had a jerkwad try to blow up a tank that was still on the plane being delivered.
I thought the Spartan Ops games were supposed to be co-operative. If I join a game and the other players are senior in rank to me then i acquiesce the tank to them and happily take the gunner role.
I know this is not standard protocol (but it should be) usually the more experienced players know how to avoid getting the tank destroyed and have better aim.
But the jerk threw hand grenades at me like he is warning me not to take the tank, them him and his buddy in the other tank get in the way of the tank delivery and shoot at the tank, damaging it before i even had the chance to drive it, then they both quit the game
I gave them both negative reviews.
Outside from an occasional jerk I have found lots of other players that are a joy to play with. They are cooperative and we just wipe the level clean.
