Player trait zones in Forge..

Will those effect players in vehicles as well? Like, increase speed of a mongoose, ghost, etc. I dont know if they mentioned it or not, just wanted to know…

Good question. I think it might not. But I’m not fully sure.

I certainly hope so. I can think of so many things to do with that in both serious and fun gametypes

doubt it sadly, player traits haven’t effected vehicles in the past so i highly doubt it will in halo 4.

though, they could add vehicle traits into the customization options, allow us to adjust there gravity, speed and whatnot.

Probably not. Things like Territory Traits and Hill Traits don’t affect vehicles in Reach, and Player Trait Zones probably work the same way (except that they’re not gametype-dependent).

Maybe a toggle, like reach’s teleporters (hopefully).

Well they used the trait zones on the halo horse demo at RTX, and that effected the mongoose. So I would think they will in the final game.

I thought that was some sort of gravity tube like thing?

Gravity Volumes.

he was going up and down randomly when he went through the zone thing though (might make more sense after release

It looked like there were multiple Volumes, and he was passing in and out of them. Couldn’t get a good look, though.

I remember this from the RVB video where they played with forge, they said that there were purple zones that affected the vehicles. like them flying in different directions, and speed and whatnot

I see no reason why you couldn’t make those traits work on vehicles.
