Player ID Menu causes game to softlock

Hi all,

Every time I go to the main menu in Master Chief Collection the game lets me know I have unlocked a range of emblems and nameplates. If I choose to select the player ID from the pause menu the game hangs permanently, and prevents me from performing any further actions. Need to hard reset my game session to regain control.
Seems to be a long standing issue in forums but I couldnt find any resolutions.

I also have this problem, but like you do not know how to fix it, I’ve heard about uninstalling the game but some say that it stays the same even if you do
