So the last couple days I’ve been playing the MCC, I would occasionally get a message say something along the lines of “Error getting player save data, delete and sync from Xbox live”
And every time I choose Continue, it takes me to my settings screen to factory reset my console.
I noticed I almost always get this message when I try to customize my service ID, and I noticed whatever save data error was happening, it was preventing me from unlocking achievements. As I played several games of Halo 2A (Today is the 9th) with no unlock.
So finally I went into my game data from the manage game menu and removed my data (as the message prompted me to).
And the results were strange. Upon booting, the game would “Sync with Xbox live” or whatever. And all my progress and options would still be gone.
My service record went from showing 101% completion to now showing 0% completion. However all my stats were still viewable in game and were accurate. It even remembered that I completed each game on legendary and all my speedrunning times, but after looking at the Campaign tab, it said I had no missions completed for any of the games, same with playlists (RIP LASO progress).
Every time I boot the game, it resets my Spartan customizations and service ID, and I’m not quite sure what’s going on.
