First of all I want to say that I have played halo my entire life and I value them heavily.
I have really been enjoying this game so far they did a great job.
BUT
I don’t understand why they would ever remove player collision and friendly fire since it has always played a big part in the halo gameplay. It is extremely frustrating to be inside of other players while trying to melee them and this ‘‘secret change’’ barely improved it at all. it just does not feel like halo sometimes and that’s pretty whack.

For collision a few months ago I Would have argued with you that it isn’t needed but that is do to my PC gamer background where team collision is commonly used to abuse the map. IT is needed back.
For the friendly fire that was likely removed for one reason, the game has gone F2P and one thing that happens any time you have friendly fire in a F2P game is whale hunting.
these are players who think no one should spend money on the game who will hunt and shoot teammates who have high value or even low value shop items. They alone cause a lot of problems. Yes an auto kicker is useful for dealing with them but well they like hackers can just make new accounts.
If you want to see how bad it can be, people on twitter where talking about doing it in comp the other day and cheering eachother on.
I like there isn’t no collision between allied, but between us and an ennemi, it’s really weird

Collision should be in for everything, friendly and enemy. There was absolutely no reason to remove it. This baffles me to no end. It needs to be put back in. Also friendly fire.

I have had a case of “player walks through me as I throw a grenade only for it to bounce back and kill me” due to a lack of team based player collision.

I loaded up a custom game with a friend and noticed there’s collision for enemy but no collision for friendly. Why isn’t this in the actual MM i don’t get it. I thought they did an update but when I last played…a players walked through me and did a melee at the right time and it counted as a ninja. Very annoying. My melee completely missed.

Collision is a must for Halo games because of the melee weapons and the punching mechanics. The game literally encourages you to be in close proximity to play effectively, and now Halo infinite makes everyone phase in and out of each other in this confusing jumble. I lose kills constantly when I surprise someone and have the upper hand because they just move erratically and pass through me. Please please 343 bring it back! Im tempted to not play it anymore it’s so frustrating for me.
