Player Collision and Bots

Just played a match of oddball - we had two bots on our team, no big deal I thought. Well, I assumed that they’d do more than go 1 and 20. I like that they add bots in, but you’d think they could scale the bot ability somewhat to match what’s happening in the game.

Then in the middle of the game I went toe-to-toe with the ball carrier. After the first melee I moved back to get the shot in, but he had already phased through me after punching, and then simply back-pedaled through me again to get the double melee in. It’s frustrating to watch a player disappear, only to reappear a moment later.

I wanted to give it some time before I began critiquing the game, but the player collision feels awful - reminds me more of lag than anything else and leaves me confused as to what’s going on until after the fact.

Obviously the player collision and absolutely garbage feelings of progression have been talked about endlessly already, but I think only further negative feedback regarding them will force change.

TL;DR: Player collision is necessary. Bot difficulty is something I feel will adjust over time.
