Player Card Option - suggestion

I would move to have an option on the player card to “Send Message.”

As it is you have to click View Gamer Profile in order to then select to send a message.

You can invite to party, see party details, look at service record, file share, or Profile, or submit a player review.

Why not add the ability to easily send a message.

Thoughts?

oh yay id get even more clan invites and hate messages.

I’ve always wondered how I get spam invites to clans and such from people not even on my recent players list. I’m not sure it’s related to sending individual messages.

I just think it would save some time messaging friends for games and such.

But a good counter point.

True… I’m also thinking that it would make it easier to message anyone on your friends list - whether they’re playing in Halo 4 or not.

Also, with the limited time to do anything in the menus before voting for a map or the flame loading, I thought anything that can save even a tiny amount of time would be welcome as a matter of convenience. Especially given that it seems so easy to add.

The Guide Button makes that easy enough, just avoid going to player cards, that’s just an extra step you don’t need to take.

Can’t the same be said about any of the other options? Player Review, service record, etc… You can access all through the guide button, so why have any shortcuts?
