I wonder if halo 5 will get to a point where it has more concernt players then halo infinite
I’m not saying this to lout I’d just like to point out that there are Alot of us that like halo 5 and wish for it to hopefully be supported in the future
Not as a main game but as a spin off like halo wars
It has a fan base so for it to just slowly die out would just be sad
I’d like to see challenges added… make the rewards additional xp + silver/gold req packs, depending on challenge difficulty.
If H5 came to PC then I’d be down to play it more often.

indeed. even with the calculator I made, id still need to do like 3728 games if I do the arena glitch alone

It seems to me that 343 Is trying to kill H5, so no updates anymore.
I never seem to find players when I play Halo 5.
Maybe because I am in Europe? Right now, 2 pm and no players can be found in SWAT, Showdown and Firefight.
The only realistic way for Halo 5 to have more concurrent players than Infinite would be if they ported the full game to PC. Even then, it wouldn’t be very likely. I don’t even believe content updates would sustain Halo 5’s population anymore.
It’s a 6+ year old game. Infinite is the new kid on the block. Infinite is free to play, also. I get not wanting Halo 5 to die out. I think it’s quite sad, honestly. A shame that there are still issues in Halo 5 that will likely go unresolved.
But,
Lets not kid ourselves. The reality is, Infinite is the current priority. And, judging by 343i’s actions surrounding Halo 5, I don’t think they have plans to provide further updates. At all. I could be wrong, but this is unfortunately how things tend go.
Here’s how I view it. Halo 5 has a small following, it’s still playable. Therefore, I doubt 343i will shutdown the servers anytime soon. Just keep playing and enjoying.
That truly shouldn’t be an issue. Make sure you have an Open NAT.
I am a Grunt when it comes to internet topics. What does a open NAT mean and how can I do that on my xbox/router?
You can actually go into your network settings within your xbox, go to advanced network settings, choose alternate port, choose manual, and from there try a few different ports. You choose one, go back anf it will update your NAT status. You want it to be open. You can also test your speed in the diagnostic testing selection and usually a choice of a different port can impact evem your latency being better or worse.
How alive is this game? I’m actually considering to play it again. I’m way depressed and dissatisfied over infinite. I played halo 4 longer than that game man…thats hard to believe…

From my experience, Halo 5 still has a lot of active players.
I find games pretty fast in Super Fiesta, Quick Play, Infection and Warzone Firefight.
I’d really like to play SWAT and Breakout but there I only find players rarely. But that could be the times I am able to play. Mostly in the evenings and I am in Europe.
I played 1 game of quick play last night and had the most fun ive had in months in that 1 single match on h5 plaza than anything I’ve done in infinite. Ive already gave up on infinite. It just won’t ever be the game I hoped it would be.

That was exactly my experience too. Although I like infinite, I got bored when I finished the Battle Pass and the mp achievements. Went back to Halo 5.
First match was Slayer on Truth and that was so much fun. And even the 1200 xp were still better as 0 xp. And I like Firefight a lot.
