Played Pros

Ive had many awesome halo moments going ham then getting kids sending messages saying mlg pro…
Nothing beats playing against actual pros I.e strongside and ninja…the realisation that there in your game lobby the game starts and then your draw kills on each other the way they play is crazy so much awareness…
They make decent player average
This is what I like about Halo it’s much more skill based than any other MP game…

Halo matchmaking use to be competitive, I don’t know about now though. Every time me and my team play together, we play mostly scrubs (we all have 50’s as well). Very rarely do we run into a team that can keep up. It’s a shame really, how non-competitive Halo 4 matchmaking is now ):

There are still a few decent teams playing such as crouched, sun100 and HG I have to admit though most guys in teams back out as soon as they see your fairly decent and just dodge you even if ur in a party of 2
It’s more to do with how match making matches u…
It’s competitive if you play on your own and win with noobs on your team lol

For some reason I can’t not slap Ninja whenever I play him.

When I stopped playing a few months ago you had to back out of almost every game and pray to match players who weren’t awful. There were only around twenty or so competent kids left, so unless I recognized the other team by name we would usually just back out in the lobby.

Grifball is a non-competitive playlist, so you shouldn’t be surprised.

Go play some sweaties in doubles, PG, or TS. There’s still good games to be had, just not in the least competitive playlist Halo has ever offered.

Your right, it is non-competitive. But the GGL (Good Games League) is competitive. I have an undefeated GGL team in Grif, and my team gets paired up against some of the best Grifballers on matchmaking. So in fact when you have to play the best players, it is competitive.

Gotta stay in the game to do that…Or not get your team banned from the leagues…

I got myself banned. I don’t take responsibility for my team getting banned. The GGL found any reason to ban my team, and so they did.

Good thing too, you were about to play teams in the Vet division where 95% of the top talent was.

And for the record, GGL is the recreational league, not a competitive league.

WHALE!!! Holy crap! Randomly seeing you post! I remember you from the BWO days! Probably don’t remember me, but whatevs. I used to be BWO Boss if that rings a bell. Nice to see ya, man!

Until Halo 4, where kids would plasma your vehicle just for getting to it first…

Funny you should say that, considering the only two times I’ve played you on MM I beat you. The second time it was even your teams host, and you had ICECARDZ and Silentshadow. You guys still lost, and I spawn trapped you. Just because you’r popular doesn’t mean you are un-stoppable.

Funny you should say that, considering the other 30 times I’ve been matched up with you, you quit out. No disrespect to Ice or Shadow but they are far from the top talent I’m referring to.

Look dude, I’m not going to argue with you. You inserted yourself into this discussion, no body told you join in on a conversation that has no further meaning. I mean this in the nicest way, but have a life and keep a life.

OMG NO, KIRBY LOOKS LIKE A -Yoink!- NOW, WAYPOINT WHY

Well, hello good sir. And, yeah I remember you.

How is BWO doing?

@Whale: lol I haven’t visited the BWO site in a long time, so I don’t know. Seeing you brought up some memories back on Bungie.net. You were on that squad with Verachi and Chuck Norris and some other guy. Wish we could go back. T_T

Matchmaking either has a faulty algorithm, or players are finding a way to manipulate it thru new profiles, stolen profiles, etc. Bottom line is this… For all of you supposedly “pro” players who complain about noobs and the like, there are many more of us average players who really strive to play competitively, but keep getting thrown into lobbies with players that we should NEVER, EVER play with. Since I don’t want to get banned, I try and stick it out and do what I can. Guys, when you see that the other team is obviously overmatched, it is the lowest form of -Yoink- to then boost up on them. I’m not saying don’t get some kills, but why not try to teach them how to be better at the game. Did it ever occur to you that the more the collective skill of the community improves, the more competitive teams you’ll actually have to play with? Send them an invite or at least a quick message with a tip or two. DON’T be an @$$hole and make them hate the game. Pretty soon you’ll have nobody left to play with.

Well said man. It’s tough when matchmaking doesn’t do its job getting you an equally skilled match. Only because its a relevant reply, I’d encourage you to check out this video and consider getting involved with the lobbies I host.

I make a pretty regular, active effort to give those “average players striving to play competitively” a chance to do just that. It’s an opportunity matchmaking can’t give you.

Del, big ups on your post bro! Need more of this in the community and less of the ego/e-peen measuring. Hope to see you in one of your customs some day soon…
