I find how Palmer calls that round “Gruntpocalypse” misleading and disrespectful to the original Firefight mode. What it should be in H5 is where you have five minutes to kill as many Grunts as you possibly can. No amount required, just mass-murder the simulated Unggoy.

You can also pick up voids tear during it. They don’t have many shots left but they are there. It’s really fun.

No. It appears (rarely) as a first round on Sanctum.

It is very rare when I pops up. I’ve only seen it pop up maybe 3 or 4 times.
I’ve played it, so much death.
My favorite mode is playing against the Grunts. It’s so loveable splattering a row of them like bowling pins.
I probably played the most FF and have never witnessed it :(.

Yeah, on Raid on Apex 7, where you have to kill 100 grunts, I use the Sword Banshee to barrel roll and to fling those grunts into the sky, it’s hilariously effective

Some clarity needed: was it actually called Gruntpocalypse, how many Grunts do you have to (get to) kill, what round, is there a boss, and confirm Sanctum?

About as rarely as Sanctum’s Jul 'Mdama in Round 3? Only seen that once…
