Edit: I didn’t explain myself properly. These maps are alright, but I feel like some of the maps have been designed for the flawed concepts that we currently have in this game, and it leads to the same stale game-play. For instance Landfall.
That is what I meant to say.
Bored already. Same problems arise all the time.
Aim assist and bullet magnetism is too high.
Automatic weapons range is too high. (Note: Halo 3 AR range was too low).
DMR, Sprint, AA’s, Perks, Load-Outs, Flinch etc.
Trueskill and JiP poorly implemented.
Kill-Times are too fast.
Maps too cluttered (Debris and other gubbins)
Very few Arena maps.
Game favours Big Team, not 4v4/5v5.
And so much more.
Why does this game feel like a twitch shooter?
I understand that 343i wanted to make a faster-paced game, we as a community needed it especially after Reach. But the game is too fast-paced.

How would that change? The maps are still in the same system of MM. Unless rules are changed, which they weren’t advertised to do so, then the maps will play as the others.

As I said before, the map-pack brings no variety. Except people are now spamming Pulse Grenades for an achievement.
Map-packs are supposed to bring different environments, different play-styles.
i played the new map pack for around 2 hours today, and i have already got 8/10 of the new achievements, and have to say its amazing, these 3 maps beat all the maps in halo 4 easily, amazing map pack love playing them, they vissualy look amazing aswell
as for the gameplay issues OP pointed out, wait for an update to arrive to maybe address the issues, but the maps alone are awesome, almost like reverting back to older halo maps in my eyes

So a map like Meltdown should play exactly like Haven?
No, there should be a difference. These maps are alright, and that’s it.

The things you stated in you OP do not constitute ‘variety’. Those are things you find fault with apart of the MM system. The things you wished to be changed/omitted completely change the MM system.

Obviously not. I’m not saying they play mirror to each other, what I’m saying is that by just playing a different map is not going to completely change the way MM is set up. Unless playing certain playlists designed for it.

The map pack is part of the game, if you want changes, wait for a TU, which will not change much.

I said it in a reply, sorry about that.
I’ve had no diverse, interesting games. They have all been rather boring, all because of the same game-play.
Even Arena Zealot from Reach had somewhat enjoyable game-play.

this is really the first time ive seen anyone complain about these things on the Halo council people are asking for a DMR BUFF and say the kill times are too slow. I haven’t played the maps but there looking good from what ive seen. The game play’s fine probably haven’t adjusted to the fact that it dosent played like previous Halo’s yet and still go in not utilizing what you have at your disposal like sprint or AA’s yes the game has issues ( not including AA’s and possibly sprint ) but this is more of a subject B is not like subject A so its bad because its different post. If you get killed by an AR in this game its just your own fault and this is coming from a guy who only uses AR in Halo in general. Don’t blame the game for the bad decisions you made while playing it.

I saw some of the posts on the Halo Council, asking for the DMR to have a faster kill-time. Halo 3 had roughly 2 second kill-times, which were fine!
In Halo 4 we are at 1.6 - 1.8, I don’t mind the 1.8s kill-times but 1.6 is too fast. It’s 0.2 of a second, but it makes such a difference. Not forgetting that most weapons in Halo 4 have a higher RoF than they did in previous Halo games so missing a shot isn’t punished like it used to be.
Anyway, I’m not liking that the same game-play/tactics can be used in these smaller maps. Playing some FFA Rumble Pro, I noticed how many people camp with DMR’s or BR’s. They weren’t even camping at the best spots for map control, they were just taking pot shots at people running near them.
