I personally think it’s quite a ridiculous idea putting the next season 6 months away from the first as adding the 2nd season 3 months later would be much more reasonable than having 6 months of no new battle pass content other than the current insulting fractures battle pass.

Definitely, I can’t unlock the current battlepass with as much enthusiasm because I know in the back of my mind that I’ll have nothing else to put my progression towards.

I’m gonna second this. Out of the 100+ items in the current battle pass only about 10 are of any interest to me, and I’m likely only gonna be using 4 of those.

This will sound ironic given my name, but the Kig-Yar are my favorite species, with the T’vaoans as my favorite subspecies. That being said I have been aching for this for years on end, only to be repeatedly beaten down and slapped in the face as early as the Bungie days and dragging on into the present with 343 & Microsoft. They have the most potential out of all the other unflushed species, and they are repeatedly cast aside as punching bags or background actors.

Making slimmer body models and using more types of weapons as AI makes it possible .
The pursuit of profits is eternal, and 343i is no exception.
How eager I am to let my original Sanfheili character wear those modest, exquisite and cool armor .

I agree and feel you. My love for Kig-yar has been more recent than you but I still have had my fair share of disappointment regarding potential.
The kig-yar do have so much untapped potential but they are just slapped around, labbeled as oirates, and thrown in a corner for everyone to hate on and kill.

I have a lovely gray cat（British Shorthair） with orange eyes. She sometimes does that to the birds outside the window.The beloved domestic cat has no hunting ability, but if it is a cruel and bloodthirsty alien, the situation is different.This dramatic conflict makes me feel that he is very cute.

It isn’t going to happen.
There are way too many factors to list as to why, so I will sum it up: not enough of the player base wants to be an Elite (especially when they are an easy headshot), so why would they dedicate an immense amount of time and resources to a feature that only 5%-10% of the population will use (and that is being generous)?
Not to mention they will make way more money dedicating time and resources to new customization options with Spartans, vehicles, weapons, campaign dlc, etc…
So tell me - what is in it for them to make Elites playable?

If it was a heavily wanted feature then they would move Heaven and Earth to make it happen and sell it to you so they can make money.
There was a massive topic in the Halo 5 forum - literally thousands and thousands of posts on it.
Either there are a lot of players on here who do want it to happen or there was just a few players who kept posting in it all the time. Not sure which,

That is fine and dandy, but how many people would actually use the feature long-term?
I’m all for options, but very few people (when compared to the entire Halo player base - which the forums are a fraction of) would be Elites if given the option. Halo 2 and Halo 3 demonstrated this.
It just isn’t worth it.
If they had cool armor like arbiter’s or honor gaurds, i have no doubt that many would play as a sangheili
