Playable Sangheili

Uh, yeah there was. I punched it a couple times to be dramatic.

Lol sorry I was thinking of some one else.

As other posters have already replied Swords of Sangheilios would make the most sense since they are allied with humanity. Sangheilios is supposed to be having a bit of a tech renaissance, so more sets like the Artisan would be cool to see.

Personally I would really like to see some Sangheili with a bit of human elements to their armor (like the h3 accord set). Human and Sangheili cooperation is mentioned in the extended lore so more human tech adapted for use by the Elites would make a lot of sense.
I’m thinking like modified old war covenant combat harnesses with UNSC markings and magazine pouches strapped on, whole new Sangheili armors with that distinct Mjolnir/ODST look, maybe even a shemagh wrap like Jun’s to keep them long necks warm lol

Well, they’re not bound by the Covenant anymore, so them using UNSC gear isn’t far fetched at all. I’d love to see some armor remastered to fit an Elite. Stuff like Recon and CQB. I think CQB would look awesome on an Elite.

They are described as being the same man.

Slimmer and a little ahorter but otherwise the same.

They are reptiles, it makes sense

Finally, someone actually makes a proper post on this thread that isn’t a single sentence. The point of threads like these is to engage in through discussion in regard to the Game, Halo Universe, and its features.

That being said I believe we shouldn’t limit the discussion to merely the Sangheili, rather I suggest this thread be used to campaign for the ability to play as other species in general. While admittedly Sangheili are the first step in this plan, as they were the first and only other species to ever be accessible to players, we must not dismiss the potential for other races to be included. San’Shyuum Prelates, Jiralhanae, and even Forerunner armigers (promethean soldiers,) are all fairly suitable candidates for their similarities and parallels with Spartans.

Yesssss that would be awesome. Imagine being able to carry around a curveblade on you’re armor like the yoroi has the katanas. I think the tech renaissance thing would also be a good reason for playable elites to be able to use equipment like the grapple shot.

Burnblades??

Those would be AWESOME

I Set up a poll, it is almost at viable sample size.

The old mega thread is back, but I think we should stay in this one, the topic is Halo Infinite so it will get more views than the old one.

Because my original thread was locked for some reason and i was told to go here, i am copy and pastong what i said here. I disagree but comedic hermit thinks it applies to the topic of playable sangheili

“ Would y’all like to see a kig-yar main character in halo infinite at some point sinilar to how the arbiter was? A Kig-yar main character has been missing in the halo games and books and it would be awesome to see the Kig-yar finally fleshed out. Others would finally be able to see that Kig-yar can be just as cool as humans or Sangheili or Brutes and we can see mroe of the halo universe that is never explored. It could also break down these ridiculous stereotypes that many people use to justify their dislike of Kig-yar.

This only has positives for halo as a franchise and i really hope 343 can make it into a reality”

This was from a second post i made but got the same treatment as the first and is of the same topic as the first:

“ That we need the Kig-yar as a species to be fleshed out with a member as a main character?

Other than the buggers and the hunters, the Kig-yar are one of the least fleahed out species of the covenant in the halo universe which is a shame because they are really cool from what we have.

They need to be fleshed out more and Infinite is the perfect opportunity to do so. We could get a banished story DLC and play as the banished and as a Skirmisher spartan killer. I think it would be really cool and would allow us to see a perspective never before seen in halo (even where the books are concerned) and could show people that Kig-yar are bot all about money, they are not all pirates, that stereotypes are just stereotypes.

Or, maybe we could get an allied Kig-yar from the SoS or something like that, idk…

What do you guys think? Do y’all think it would be cool?”

Yeah, it would be cool, but like I said in a forum I just opened up, did 343 really say that we were getting DLC, or was it just an assumption made by the community?

I
Halo infinite is supposed to be a thing for 10 years….

I think DLC is a good assumption.

They did say they would be making more “chapters” and something about the fact that they are working on another story chapter now

DLC is a good assumption, and I really would like to see it, don’t get me wrong. I just wanted clarification if there was an actual announcement.

But what dk you think more than just a “it would be cool”

I want peoples’ ideas and thoughts…. To see if i am alone in this or not
