What races do you expect to see that will be playable in HW2? Obviously, I think the UNSC and Covenant will both be options, but I was wondering who else we can be.
I’m sure that we’ll find the Prometheans and perhaps the Flood/Insurrections, but will we able to be control them? I sure hope so
And perhaps we’ll be surprised with the introduction of a whole new faction… like that Jiralhanae in the trailer with his glowy staff.

Probably nothing too different. UNSC will definitely be one. Covenant or a type of break away clan will definitely be one. I don’t think the flood will be one and the prometheans will most likely be getting innovated as either a playable faction or something like that. Yeah but i only see the flood as AI on the map guarding specific locations like bases and the such.
Hopefully Covenant based on the classic designs, not the modern version, hopefully the Flood, UNSC.

UNSC and covenant are a sure thing. I don’t think the flood will be playable, not really a lot you can do with them. Depending on what time frame the game is set in Prometheans are a possibility. Even if they don’t feature in the campaign would be cool to see them in multiplayer.
Flood would be pretty cool. If they take cues from the greatest RTS ever made they could model the flood like Starcraft’s Zerg, and I could finally fulfill my dream of becoming the gravemind.

Crawlers, knights and soilders. They are making Promethean vechiles in halo 5 so add some of those and we have ourselves a decent faction
The UNSC, Covenant, and the Flood are all must haves. No exceptions, especially with the Flood as many players (myself included) have been waiting a very long time to be able to play as the Flood. The Forerunners/Prometheans could become a DLC faction when they are more fleshed out and can be implemented as a full faction by comparison to the other three.
I personaly want to have at least 2 playable races in halo wars 2 because the UNSC was good and all in the first but there was so much more that could have been there like playing as the flood for example that would be interesting because you only have a few units and you have to rely on you enemy allowing you to infect there stuff to build your army.
