So what is the new playable race in matchmaking? I have yet to hear/see anything and i really want to know.

Race? You mean like Human race? Spartan IV’s?
Or, race as in racecars and stuff? What?

I think we are only playing as Spartans this time around OP. No playable Elites, Prometheans, Grunts, Jackals, Flood, etc. in multiplayer.

I saw concept art for forerunner combat armor at Halo Nation. Maybe we might see those guys in multiplayer.

I believe there could be some Forerunner concept in Matchmaking. I know Elites aren’t returning this time around. I remember reading somewhere that there would be a race other than Spartans in Matchmaking. Maybe I’m just in over my head here. I apologize if I am.

You can only play as Spartan IVs. One of the main reasons you can’t play as another species or whatever is because you play as your Spartan in everything but Campaign, and 343 want you to invest in your Spartan. Another reason is because the UNSC don’t allow random aliens on board their ship.

True, but they could always, if need be fall back on a VR image uploaded from Infinity if such a thing would happen.

yeaaah its kinda of a piss off that theres no second playable species but whats worse is the giant kick to the face “reward” when you reach 130 -.-
