Playable elites when

When the fans can come together unanimously with a detailed constructive decision on how Elites can be implemented (along with just about everything else that we can’t seem to rationalize), then 343 might have an idea what fans actually want.

343 is very enamoured and influenced by the competitive scene. It’s a struggle to convince Halo players that there should be more than one gun in the game much less a second in game model.

It’s so wild cuz they could so easily just make it so that you cant play as an elite in ranked. I dont understand why 343 wants to force social matchmaking to be competitive

Or, just lock Elites out of Ranked and let people have their fun in other modes where winning doesn’t count for anything.

I think they want to be able to play as all those species. Brutes would be really cool. Everything else i can only see happenin within custom games. Which would still be really unique and fun.

Balancing and sizes aside.
What about elites vs elites mode?

Solves all their arguments.

Or elites but only for invasion.

Or elites in any social playlist because the playlist is… SOCIAL. Like 343 simply needs to wrap their head around the concept that forcing social playlists to be competitive is just going to whittle down their playerbase. Ranked is competitive enough, why does social need to be as well?

What I heard from the leaks Playable Brutes will be a thing in Halo Infinite Multiplayer. Which in some ways would make sense only because this isn’t the Covenant but the Banished instead.
All I know is whichever character comes out they better not be big shooting targets and all mechanics better be the same to Spartans unlike the Elites experience in H2A.
Because in Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer experience for Elites was worse then trash.

1. The maps aren’t even designed with Elites in mind for height and width.
2. Melee Attacks doesn’t even work half the time.
3. It feels like you die twice as fast.
4. The Energy Sword distance for Elites is a shorter distance then Spartans which totally messed up.
5. There’s no Armor that’s actually sweet or amazing content that screams out Legendary.
6. In Halo 3 Classic it was a glitch but it gave people a reason to use the Elites back then. By having so it’s harder to get Headshot on Elite players. Which is definitely a good trade off being a big character and all.

If these things are looked into then I’ll definitely pay to play as a Elite or Brute. But knowing 343 and there hate for anything outside of humanity they will probably make the experience so trash to the point no one ask for it again.
