In Halo 5 I want to be able to play as an Elite. The chances of having Halo 4 with playable Elites is most likely never going to happen.
no
And I shouldn’t have to explain.
What’s wrong with letting people play how they want.Is it so wrong to want be something your not in a video game?
I want playable grunts or at least a play list with playable grunts.
None of the Elites said ‘WORT WORT WORT!’ in H4. That needs to be the FIRST thing fixed.
I think I heard an Elite say, “Wort wort wort.” But it sounded like it was choking on its drool.

Actually yes I would like you to explain why you feel the need to prevent people from playing as a character they have been able to play as since Halo 2.

I think it is a good thing but i would rather 343 make a human air vehicle than make elite models. Why you ask? Ask yourself this, exactly how many people played as elites in Reach…case closed.

People didn’t play as Elites in Reach because you could only play as them in Invasion and Customs.

Exactly. In halo 3 Elites were actually played as quite frequently and I dont see how a UNSC air vehicle fits into this at all. Halo 3 had the Hornet and the Elites still had alot of armor(not as much as spartans) to choose from. Then in Reach there was the Falcon and the Elites had like 9 or 10 different armor sets. Why couldn’t they do both?
Ive heard at least 7 elites go wort wort wort and I remember the first time distinctively because the elite did it just before a plasma stuck it in the face and I hadn’t heard an elite do that since CE

Elites could be played anytime.
EDIT: I stand corrected on the above comment however my original argument still stands.

I was talking about programming and testing time used. I would like it used on something more beneficial (like a human air vehicle).

I agree a UNSC air vehicle would be nice but having a different species to add variety to matchmaking instead of just spartans, spartans, and more spartans should be a higher priority. Heck I think they should make Knights a playable character to in Halo 5 to add even more variety. Also, in the other post about elites playability in Reach I saw you write that they were playable anytime. No, they were only playable in Invasion, Elite Slayer, and custom games.

I guess I would have to agree with you IF they had elite, spartan, and knight models. But I would only want them in customs or a special playlist because one would be better than the other creating a OP player model. I would much rather have only Spartans in MP than for everyone to run around as knights in BTB. By the way I edited the playability post, I stand corrected.

I can understand segregation for player models in certain playlists like SWAT or Snipers, but just having only one model like there is in Halo 4 is just bland. I mean just imagine playing a slayer match with spartans, elites, and knights fighting side by side with three different weapon and vehicle sets (forerunner vehicles for halo 5 hopefully). That image in my mind just seems like a very epic experience.
I think it’s better to keep everyone using the same model. Besides, they’d have to make as much armor customization for elites as they do spartans and to me that just seems to be a waste.
War Games is the new multiplayer and it’s Spartan 4’s training in a simulator. Elites just don’t fit in to multiplayer anymore. It worked in Reach but the whole theme of Reach was very Human vs Covenant.
It probably won’t come back for Halo 5 and 6 and I hope it stays that way, I got nothing against elites.
I think Elites should be included in the “simulation” mainly because spartan vs spartan isn’t the same as spartan vs elite.

Really? Wow. Just wow.
I don’t want 343 to work on an Elite model because I rather see elements of the game made better, as well as work on new weapons and vehicles. Elites come last imo. Plus I don’t think Elites would be cannon in multiplayer with the way they have it setup in Halo 4. I can be wrong if you change my opinion.
Yes unless nobody wants more Machinimas. Everything needs aliens, everything.
