Come on 343 we all want to play as our WORT WORT boys and Craig.
Give us the option for social playlists and customs with a few armour sets like 3/Reach? It doesn’t need to be as detailed as Reach customisation for Spartans but playable Craig would be so funny if it was unlocked through a campaign challenge or something. And the community would love you for it!

There was an Easter egg on The Rig in H5. It was just a little animation you could trigger, but it proves their willing to have a little fun.
Sadly I think it’s a little too late to add brutes if they wanna ship the game on time and from what I hear infinitei is in development hell right now so it wouldnt help them to add another thing like that to the list, I do hope elites are playable in multiplayer though at least.

I am under the hopeful assumption that we can play as elites again when infinite comes out. I don’t think brutes would be there but given what they have said about infinite being around for 10 years makes me think that anything is possible in that engine. If fans really wanted, I think it would be possible to have playable brutes eventually.

People want playable Elites back ever since Halo 4 (me included). So i sure hope so that this is going to be happening, ever since Halo 2 I play as a Elite in Multiplayer.
Don’t get me wrong, i like the Spartans to, but if i get the chance to play as something else i do so. In Elder Scrolls it’s Khajiit or Argonians, in WoW it was as a Tauren and so on.
Why play as a “boring” human?
Not so sure about Brutes, unless they do something different and give Elites, Spartans and Brutes different “Stats” Like Elites are fast but can’t take as many hits, while Brutes are slow but tanks and spartans are the middleground.

With this game being a platform for 10 years anything is possible.
The fact that nearly everyone can agree that it would be a great addition to bring back playable Elites… And yet they have yet to be brought back implies that 343 Industries don’t care. Else they would have already done so.

How were those brute models even greenlit for that gameplay reveal. Literally the brutes in Halo 2: Anniversary look drastically better. They had fur too which seems to suit brutes more and make them feel more intimidating.

I am utterly convinced that 343’s upper management are just chimps in suits hoping that if they bang on the typewriter enough they’ll have the complete works of Shakespeare.
Funny I posted the exact same thing titled Elite Lives Matter asking 4 the same thing elites/brutes but my thread was locked in less then 2 minutes yet this has been up for hours… Mods are yoink holes confirmed???
