Would you want to play as any covenant in Halo 5 e.g grunts, elites etc in multiplayer? As in action sack gametypes.
I would certainly hope that I would be able to play as an Elite/Brute in MM in a larger capacity than just 'Social" playlists. If I could play as a grunt, jackal, skirmisher, hunter, or any other Covenant, I would be overjoyed.

It would be awesome if it happened, but imagine all the balancing to make it fun? Especially if you got stuck as a grunt.

Perhaps there could be something similar to Invasion but set up like Battlefield with squads and a lot of players.
That way there could be a squad or two of grunts and with an elite squad leader or just squads of elites, jackals, etc.
Then ODST, Marines, and Spartans and such for the other team.
This would be almost exactly like Beast mode from Gears of War 3. It would be cool to play as a Jackal trying to block shots with an energy shield gauntlet or a hunter trying to bludgeon some humans with our metal forearm/blast shields.
Only in certain game modes. Like Invasion. Anything else would be lame.
