Ever since the beginning of Halo 3 ( i’m pretty sure ), Bungie took a great leap to add Elites as playable characters in missions, multiplayer, etc. Through on out, Halo Reach was the last game we were able to play as Elites. I think that 343 should’ve added the option to be able to play as Elites or as THE SWORDS OF SANGHELIOS, by yours truly, the Arbiter. This would’ve impacted game play as we were given the full interface of Halo 5 and it’s series since we got to play as different races. Obviously with Fire team Osiris and Blue, you are able to play as other characters of the team. Likewise, it was the same in Halo 3 where you got to play as the Arbiter and an elite ( lucky to player 2 3 and 4 ). IF we were given the option to play as Elites, the armor customization should be the same as Halo 5, meaning changeable head and body armor. Halo Reach’s version of playing as an Elite was, meh, since we weren’t given the chose of customizing, just the basic what that Elites wore like as a Zealot, General, etc. As to Warzone and Arena, your team could consist of Spartans AND Elites from the Swords of Sanghelios since it has to fit the story, otherwise you would be playing as/with the bad guys lol.
This was my opinion on bringing back playable Elites, what do you guys think about this? Should 343 have implemented the idea of playable Elites?

I think you mean halo 2. There is a massive thread about playable elites. I don’t feel like searching for it so I can link it for you, but the elite stuff is generally funneled there.
